Re: HELP ME!!!! escaped ball :'( !!!!
First thing to do is breath. Most snakes are found. Set up a grid in your room and start looking over EVERY INCH of your room. They can hide in plan sight.
Everything should be okay, just take your time.
Good Luck!

FOUND HER!!!! Some how she got in my brothers room! she was on TOP of his bed/bookshelf thing. its like connected to his bed and she was on top chilling ontop/behind some books. I couldnt believe it. Its one of the last places i expected her to be. I dont even know how she got ON his bed.
She either went under 2 doors that separate our bed rooms which I could barley fit my fingers under, or she went out my door and around to my brothers door down the hallway...
GAH... shes cold as ice. and shes still not eating.

Congrats!!!
Get her warm and hopefully she'll starting eating. I would wait a few days before trying to get her to eat.
Good Luck!

Hi,
And don't discount the top shelf either.
Most of the time people find them within ten feet of their enclosure - chack back through all the lost snake threads for tips like poly bags and flour etc.
And good luck finding him soon.
**edit**
You found it while I was typing. Now that you have her back remind me later to give you a row for leaving a mouse in with her unattended :p

Helpful hint. If you want to find your snake, tie a fresh killed mouse to a string, and tie the end of the string to something like a table leg. Not too long, though.
If your snake is moving about in the area of the mouse, he may smell it, and eat it, and will be stuck on the string.
This is how I've seen snakes captured live indoors, and out, and it seems to be a great method.
As long as you make the string short, it won't hurt the snake. Has to be long enough that it won't spit it out, but short enough to not get tangled in the snaked intestines.

I'm sorry, but that's a very dangerous way to find a snake. Far too many other options without the hint of danger to your snake. I would never suggest doing this.
Sorry!

I don't think he was joking.
Edit: Rhasputin, if you weren't kidding let me tell you why that is a dangerous idea.
The snake would reach the chair leg and the muscles would still be attempting to pull the mouse further down to the stomach with a very solid stop. The stop would cause the snake to forcefully regurgitate and cause damage to the esophagus. If the string was swallowed fully with the mouse and you caught it in time, the string could cause impaction or get caught in multiple areas of the digestive tract, even if it's short.

I dont know how she could even get on the bed! its a full bed its pretty high up there and shes maybe near 3 ft long. I knew of the flour method but I was so worried because im supposed to go back to school tomorrow and leave home.
The mouse was dead. Row away I feed frozen thawed. I would have tried using a mouse to lure her in but she has been off feed for a while and really a pain in the you know what when it comes to eating. She doesnt even go near it. Im still worried that it might be the mice I have...
She used to strike at them, then it was I had to put it down and eventually she would get to it (no strike, just eat) and now shes just not eating... its been a while. probably close to three months. / also thought of trying to feed live... but i dont really want to and if she doesnt eat it then ehhh. I dont need a mouse to have hangin around getting out.
