Talking Oh Sweet Victory !! (bad shed update)

Well after a bad shed my Zeus had gotten stuck with his head skin and eye caps

I took a little of everyones advice and kinda mixed it up and added a twist of my own and with lots of care and a soft touch Zeus and I worked together and got it taken care of..

odd but he seemed to have realized I was trying to help and assisted me in the process.

Here is what I did to remove stuck head skin and eye caps...

    1) warm wet towel and a pillow case.. I wet the towel and pillow case and set Zeus in it so soak for 30 mins..

    2) I took a small piece of tape and stuck it to my finger.

    3) very carefully I put my tape finger to the tip of his nose and let him pull away..

    4) skin pulled lose very very nicely !

    5) I slowly pulled back in a head to tail motion as Zeus pushed free of his head skin and eye caps !

I was so happy that his eye caps came off with his head skin, I was worrried I would need to remove them myself..

I will say this was very easy to do and if your bp is easy to handle it will make it even eaiser to do.

Well now that my green eyed boy is looking sharp and vivid I will be posting some post shed pics !

hope this help some, I know I would have loved a guide on this one..

    Nicely done!

I have found when you are trying to help a snake they seem to work with you I have seen that removing ticks from rescues. They are all over the place and once the first tick was off and some polysporin on, they calmed down and allowed me to remove the rest.
