Well for those of you that follow the gizmo...sorry this has taken a while. He has been in shed and I have been recovering from a cold that kicked our entire family's butt! But.....of course Gizzy ...shed or no shed was NOT without his daily debocles. (and my husbands bald head is somehow getting grayer and grayer each day he is here)![]()
Well where to start....lets start with the fact the Mr. Gizmo as I think he prefers to be called as of late has gotten more and more spoiled. I have found that at night he tends to like his blankeys toasted. aka...put in the dryer for a couple of minutes so they are nice and warm....NOT hot...just warm. In fact he likes this so much that he has taken up walking from the tv room to his bedroom and back and forth till you get the picture that ....Oh yea...toasted blankey! I have even caught the hubby checking on him and even tucking the covers around him at night.
Yea yea..he tries to act like he wants him gone...but we all know the truth.
Gizmo has also discovered another mirror downstairs in the house and has begun arguing with the other handsome iggy in the mirror. Head bobbing and all! It is quite a sight to see. I have no clue why they are arguing but it is quite hilarious. Also not sure why he kisses the other iggy in the hallway mirror and argues with the iggy in the downstairs mirror.Oye one might never know...maybe the lighting is a little sexier in the hallway...
We also have come to notice that our loving gizmo has become quite....hmmmm...opinionated. He seems to think that WHEREVER he wants to lay is game and NO ONE is going to tell him any other way. He moves things around to suit his paticular needs....including everything off tables...breakables and all. Then he looks at you like....WHAT...clearly that needed to NOT be in my way.
ahhhh....busted...
No pictures of this one but it was darling in its own way, however hubby was NOT amused and again went on his ....."when does he go home"
Iggy was basking on the back of the chair and decided to go downstairs. My son and husband were in the tv room. All of a sudden I hear "ewwwwwwwwwwww" apparently on the way downstairs Gizmo farted loud enough that it shook downtown Tucson. I ran out to see what was going on only to find my little man had an accident on the stairs. I run down with products in hand to clean it up before the hubby has a heartattack. My son comes with and holds his tail while I clean him off. All the while poor poor gizmo is looking so embarassed. I then start to clean up the floor and Gizzy turns around and crawls up onto me and puts his head on my shoulder.it was so cute...as if he was apologizing in his own way for making a boo boo. Either that or he was trying to hide from the big mean hubby who was NOT taken in by his adorable act of apology...
I know that iggy needs to go home soon and we will all miss him so much here. It has been such a great time with him. Could I talk my hubby into letting me keep him...of course.(he tries to put his foot down but cant take the bambi eyes)
But realistically I dont think I could have 2 male iggys together in the same house. I would be worried that there would be fighting and I like to let them roam around free as they please. Plus two 6xsomething cages in one house. ahhhhh...probably not!
