^This...I changed it up a little, but this has been the best advice given on this thread

If you have a Phantom on your mind and don't want to make white snakes get a Mojave female...nice ones are available and affordable. Also I would get a Pastel Yellowbelly and either a super pastel, enchi or pewter female...With the PYB and pewter you'd be stretching your cash a little bit thin, but honestly, if you don't see something that absolutely presses your buttons, then don't buy it. Wait until you see something at a later show or on an online ad and grab it then...basically don't buy any snake just because you're there and have the cash to do so.

Great advice I've actually been to this show twice and they have alot of real nice BP's. I was just not ready to buy at that time. Hopefully I will see some great morphs and come home with a few.

Re: Help me pick my first 3 females
If i was to start off again I would get a Enchi male, Pastel female, Spider female
and a Enchi female you should be able to cover these animals with 1200 at the shows. The reason I would get a enchi male is because everyone is going nuts with the enchi gene all the combos are looking amazing and with this set up you should have a strong breeding group.Good luck

I don't see why he'd want to buy a male right now, especially if he's setting up for a breeding program. An enchi female would be a good buy, but they're at a premium right now. But you're still looking at at least 18-24 months until the females are ready to breed so why not jus get them now and wait on the male.

That is true but it would be good to have a male at first whos to say he wont want to purchase a couple normal females around the time his male is ready in size.He can produce something while hes waiting for his females to get to breeding size.Normal adult females are relatively cheap so its something to look forward to before his breeding program takes off.
