Housing Ball Pythons!

I was looking at this old you tube video and a guy had his ball python in a tub with a under tank heater plugged in a thermostat?

Has anyone done this before and what's the pro's and con's on doing this?

As in, he had the snake in a sterilite or rubbermaid plastic tub with a UTH and a thermostat? Sounds like a perfect bp setup to me. That's what I use personally...
