Feeding a new juvenile

1) When should a juvenile Mexican Black King snake be feed after being introduced to its new Faunarium when brought from the shop?

2) Should it be fed in its Faunarium, or should it be fed in a different enclosure? Please give reasons for this reply.

1. You want to give the snake some time to adjust, so I'd say maybe let it get used to it's enclosure for about a week before bothering it (other than the necessary maintenance: water changing, etc.)

2. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to feed in the enclosure. Personally I feel that feeding in a separate container would just add stress because they're being forced into a new environment and then having food forced on them. Feeding in the enclosure does not reinforce any aggression, and in my opinion is the best option for stress-free feeding.

ive tried with my ball python and she will not eat out of her enclosure and will not eat the rest of the day and wont eat frozen thawed, but if i drop a live small rat in the enclosure she will snap it up within 3 minutes in the enclosure. she is pretty shy. but with my milks they dont care about were when or what they will eat anytime anywere hahaha my old king would do that too.
