    It really depends on the humidity where you are. This is something you have to figure out on your own with some experimentation.

    Just remember to not put a load of holes in right away. You can always make more holes, but you can't take them away.


    In my CB-70 racks, for example, the room humidity is anywhere between 25-35%. The tubs have 0 space from the top of the tub to the shelf. I have 7 rows of 24 holes and the humidity inside the tubs are about 70%.

    However, in my hatchling rack 6qt, there's 4 rows of 24 holes and the humidity is about 60%.
