    My BP Won't Feed... Confused

My Bp (King) Has within the last 2 weeks suddenly just stopped feeding, I've tried feeding him 3 times; he's shown no interest what-so-ever in striking for the mouse. The Place I Bought Him from said when he's 6 months old I should get him a bigger set-up because they gave me a small square shaped tank for him, he's now over 2 feet long so I think maybe he needs the bigger vivarium set-up.
If anyone has any knowledge or previous experience similar to this and information would be be appreciated, thanks.

my tank size is roughly 8-12 inches in diameter, temperature of heat pad etc = 88 degrees, has a bark base covering and then has some wood that I've broken into a hide from him placed over one side.

it could be due to humidity and temps, what type of hide and substrate you have him with, and it could also be that he is fasting. from what i've heard, fasting is not usually a huge problem unless there is an extreme amount of weight loss. hopefully you dont have him on just a uth without any kind of control, those things can get pretty hot by themselves.

Well the shop I got him from (who do have a good reputation) informed me that from when I got him (7 weeks old) till he was 6 months or over they recommended the small tank I have and just using a heat pad with thermometer attached with that, he's been fine for the four months I've had him, is sprayed with cool water around every 4 days just too keep humidity levels up, although recently I tried him on frozen mice from a different shop, he ate the first two I fed him and hasn't ate since (they are slightly bigger than previous mice I had, but not by a great deal), could the way they were killed possibly be the effect? thanks guys.

So HOW big is the tank? I'm not sure what you mean by diameter. Can you just measure the height/width and depth? How are you monitoring the temps?

How often have you been trying to feed? Give him a week between attempts to get hungry and chill out. If you are trying every day, he could be overwhelmed.

My male ate FT for a few times, then decided he didn't like them. I had to switch back to live for a year or so.

I can't try live feeding it's illegal here in the uk . thanks for all the comments guys, I've got a proper vivarium set-up coming within the next few days, and I spoke to the people where I got him from yesterday, they said because the weather's been so up and down over here this time of year it's common for some snakes to stop eating and that aslong as he isn't losing weight then he's fine, Thanks Everyone Much appreciated .
