    My ball is acting strangely

well ive had lizards before.(water dragons, various geckos..) but this is my first snake! and i chose a ball python. he was fed last saturday and i got him on monday. i brought him home and didnt touch him for a few days so he could used to his new enviroment and now he seems to love me and seems to feel comfortable. then all of a sudden i try feeding him today. he takes the food right away. and within probably three minutes has the entire mosue worked a good way down his stomach. after that he tried getting out of the box i fed him in so i figured it would be good to let him back in his cage. i was told not to handle him so i let him slither out of the feed box into his home. but then he went the basking area and was just kind of laying there. for probably a good four hours. with his head tucked under himself. not like a ball when hes nervous but like he might have been sick or something. idk im probably over worrying and he jsut needs time to rest and digest. anything i should be worrying about?

It sounds to me like he just needs to digest. Mine does this too after she eats, just give him 2 days to digest and you should be good to handle him again.

I'm sure it is nothing. Just monitor him relatively closely. Also as stated by dark, don't handle again for at least 48 hours. If you follow these guidelines everything should be fine and dandy
