    ball python feel

Hi everyone I had a quick question for you. What does the underside of you ball python feel like? And also does it seem like they have a little extra skin? Because the under side of mine feels a little soft and he has a little extra skin is this normal?
    Thanks in advance

You might want to post pictures. If he has loose skin, that doesn't sound good. My bps have pretty firm bellies, though if you poke them in the belly, they suck it in.

Loose skin can be caused by dehydration. Does he have fresh water at all times?

Yes he does and occasanly soak in it. Doesn't he need a little loose skin to stretch when hw swallows food? And his belly is not overly hard but a little mushy but not to the point when it is completely soft.
