I always house my snakes with the highest temp possible on the cool side and the lowest temp possible on the Hot side this way when it comes to having to incease the temps due to ailment then I still have room to move up on the warm side. For example, if you burm needs a cool side of somewhere between 74-76 and a hot end of 94-96 giving you an ambient temp of 84-86, then I due my cool side at 76 and my hot end 94 giving me an ambient temp of 84, if my burm gets an RI, then I decrease humdity down to just a small bowl big enough for head for drinking and then I increase my hot end to 96 giving me an ambient temp of 86. humidity is big deal, lower it alot, and once again if you haven't been to the vet GO
