    Morphs not made yet?

Been looking around a lot lately and trying to see which morphs have yet to be made. I kind of want to try out an Axanthic Super Cinny. Any body know if it's been done yet?

I guess the axanthic gene would take any underlying yellows/browns and wipe them out making it the blackest ball python around. Either that or it would be more smoky grey.

I'm sure there are hundreds, if not more morphs that are yet to be discovered. The trick is to figure out how to make them, or look at different morphs that have yet to be bred together. I have a few in my head, but I think most owners keep those thoughts on the down-low

If I were a betting woman - I'd guess Tim Bailey was working on that project!

sounds cool! It's getting to the point where some of the four or five combo morphs look like a different flavor of blurry or faded. Not that it's a bad thing! I think a super black snake sounds fabulous!

That would probably be a pretty good bet, however, you would loose. I am not working on that one, but I did get a chance to llok at a VPI Axanthic Super Cinny this year at the NARBC Houston show. Amir had it on his table. While I wasn't very impressed with it as a baby, I would definitely like to see how black it stays as it ages into adulthood.

So, the answer to the original poster is that it has been done.

    Re: Morphs not made yet?

with over 100 base morphs there is alot that has not been made, ill use 100 morphs as an example that makes
9,900 different double morphs you can make
970,200 different triple morphs you can make
94,109,400 different quad morphs you can make
9.33x10 to the 157 power different total combos you can make

I came up with a few that I'm pretty sure haven't been done that I would like to see. As others have said, there is a staggering number of potential combinations (thanks OWAL for the sample calculation - yikes!), so I think the trick is using your knowledge of what goes well together to try and come up with ones that are worth doing, or ones that will help you achieve a personal breeding goal.

I like the idea of using axanthic to try and clean up the super cinny into adulthood, although since a lot of axanthics brown out as well, I think you'd be best off starting with black pastels, not cinnies (since cinnies seem to have a lot more color to them) and a line of really silver axanthics ...
