my high horse LOL come on SON! im not versed in the constitution or bill of rights. but I do know that it does not make any sense to own venomous animals in my opinnion which is exactly that an opinion. also I think that owning POTENTIALLY dangerous animals is more of a pissing contest than anything. more of a childish look at my cool toy lol get over your self people now adays are allways trying to push the limits of society, we have to realize that the things we do such as owning a tiger or a venomous animal could potential affect other peoples lives than our own. As a tax payer Im glad that I live in Ca and that crazy people who could potentially be neighbors cant own large cats or monkeys or even venomous animals. thats all im saying. my point in above posts was that the government/ and state have the right to tell u waht u can and cant own obviously! thats just common knowledge, this is hilarious. I believe the quote was " who are you to tell me what I can and cant own, no one has that right" some thing along those lines. WELL NEWS FLASH CHIEF STATE AND FED LAW. LOL

also we "discust" you im sorry. this THREAD IS ABOUT FATAL ATTRACTIONS and how the people on that show are dead cause they are ignorant and cant correctly take care of there animals or have animals they are not capable of keeping. thats why we joked about the darwan awards. do u have a relative on the show, i dont get your absolute "disgust" regarding our convo?
It's people like you that really bother me. The government makes more and more law to "protect" us when they should be focusing on the state deficit's that each state is facing. I believe CA has one of the worst deficits? Correct? Good thing your glad your taxes are going "protecting" you. Most of us are concerned about the fiscal aspect and the unemployment rate in the country.

The government doesn't need to tell us what pets to own. If my tiger gets out, killing someone, I should be persecuted to the full extent of the law, meaning i should either recieve the death penalty or life in jail. It was my fault someone was hurt, not anyone elses. Why should others be punished for the irresponsible? The only reason there is so much of an attack on our hobby is because its one of the few things that the government doesnt have its nose in. Maybe they should be focusing on the hundreds of other things. Maybe how our country has dropped so low in the sciences and mathematics, and how we can barely keep up with education anymore. Maybe they should focus on themselves, the uselessness of the government.

The government shouldn't have the right to tell us what pets we can own. Do you know how many dog related injuries there are? I work at a vet's office and its a normal thing to have a rabies quarantine in the office once a week because the owners didnt remember to get the vacination and their dog bit someone.

The government is getting its nose into business it should never be concerned about. I believe the quote is, "The government that governs least is best". The American government has controlled more and more, yet becomes more useless.

Owning our exotics is our right. If someone's pet kills someone, they should be persecuted as if they had done it themselves. Maybe then the truly irresponsible people will realize it's not worth the risk, and the ones that love the hobby and can control the animal will make up the mass majority of the keepers.

Im not ranting to make myself feel better. The fact that CA has such a major debt does play into it. Why is the government focus on banning pythons and other exotics when the country owes trillions?

I may be on TV one day, but that will be because of my intelligence. I am a Biology major in college and just finished the semester in the top 5% of my class. I plan to continue to after my masters to get a doctorates degree in Herpetology.

CONGRATS, once again do you feel better? bro the exotics ban is mainly in place cause of the irresponsible exotic owners who felt intitled enough to release there animals into the wild. I understand steps have been made to counter the impact these invasive species are making but no matter how many we kill they will still thrive in places such as the everglades. I dont think it will be a contenental take over by any means. I just understand why rules made, If anything I believe that our tax money should go to cleaning up our nation wide problem involving illegals and cleaning the streets of drugs and illegal fire arms. This can go on all day, but if your intellect needs to be admired well you have accomplished that , very impressed I to am a college student and plan on being on TV. Not because Im top 5% of my class, other dreams I have that dont need to be BLOWN UP AND posted on some bp forum to increase my so called credibility LOL. . I love my country and feel that its ignorant to think that flooding the market of regulation free exotic animals will in some how benefit our nations debt . U did not directly state this but u did bring up your interest in national and state wide financial issues also mentioned your EXPERIENCE at animal hospitals. your basically mother terressa. bro your argument backing exotic animals is similar to micheal jacksons neverland ranch, Its just never going to work social norms do not support childhood fetishes regarding How many animals you can keep or crazy dream of keeping the king of the jungle, human nature is crazy thing and people continue to amaze me with there outlandish desires and behaviors. some one of your 5% intelligence should understand that rules need to inplace to protect the good of the people therefore if you want an animal get the permit and shut up rules need to be followed HAHA

Again I have several exotic animals and love the industry and science behind these beautiful creatures but I will not stand for ignorance. nor entertain the idea of some kid bashing someones opinion.

Didn't I see somewhere they where trying to tax dirt and say that fresh air is cancerous? Lol...

As soon as I saw he was from commiefornia I stopped giving any of his arguments merit because your right your entilteld to your oppinion as the people are entitled to there right to own exotics if they see fit.. the fed gov takes a ton of liberties and "protects" us because of people like you lost who arnt versed in the bill of rights and constitution.. but since this thread is about the show ill stop argueing with u about politics because its more then obvious its an unfair fight

OK well thanks for joining in on this. what your saying is true most likely, if this is where our conversations were headed ( even though its not ) I would love to see statistics showing overall number of cats and dogs in the US compared to the number of exotics in the US well the exotics that the government actually knows about. anyways this whole thing got blown out of proportion, Im sorry that Im the only one that feels that laws controlling the kind of animals you may own and number of animals you may own in each state is "responsible" I realize there is exceptions to the rule and that there will allways be a individual case someone can bring up to prove me wrong. But this just comes down to human nature, there will allways be a person that blows things out of proportion and threatens the lives of society. therefore rules are implemented and ATTEMPTED to be inforced. BPelizebeth I loved your threads with the IGGY i wish i still had my big boy, your house guest brought me back to my childhood anyways happy holidays
