    My crazy house guest....

Well I have posted some things previously about my Christmas house guest. His name is Gizmo and he is a 4 ft iggy that doubles as a lap dog. He was saved from an abandoned house where he was left for months. He belongs to a friend of mine whose grandma is visiting and is scared of him.

Anyways...he just cracks me up with all of his antics. Getting in a tit for tat with my hubby over the couch seat...head bobbing and all. Trying to eat my toes as apparently they looked like a tasty fruit after my pedicure. Last night he was determined to eat the garland going up my stairs and when that was no good...apparently my monkey jammies were next.

Today he was cruizing around and went into my bathroom and right next to the toilet...did his business. (at least he was close). Then he proceeded to get on the bed and take a nap....but alas he was busted...lol

    .

Its going to be hard to give this guy back...he is a laugh a minute

Hand over your own iguana instead....tell him he snuck into the dryer on laundry day and got shrunk.

I laughed my butt off when I read this. I agree with Judy - give 'em your own and tell 'em he got shrunk in the dryer... Enjoy him while he lasts!

that is what we are eventually doing for the iggy I have. We have a half wall in between the breakfast nook and the family room. My husband just designed a huge glass cage that is about 9ft tall by 5 ft wide. He is going to take the half wall down and replace it. We were going to build a huge fish tank here ...but since I am inundated w reps....

This will be by far be the most intense custom built cage he has made. Should be interesting....but he always does an amazing job. I love that he has a knack for these things.

Our whole idea with the reptiles that are NOT snakes is to make custom cages around the house so that they are actually part of the decor. Each cage he makes matches the furniture in that room and actually looks like a piece of furniture. So when you walk into the house its not just a bunch of tanks everywhere....its actually part of the decorating.
