Hello Again,
So this weekend I am going to attempt my first feeding with my BP Tango. He is captive bred and I was advised that he was previously eating F/T. When we got him the supplier also gave us a frozen pinky rat for his first feeding.
I have done my research and have studied all of the various feeding methods, but still have some questions to leave to the experts (you).
What is a preferable time of day to feed? Does this matter in building a feeding routine?
When I go to feed if he is in his hide should I remove it from the tank or use another method to get him to come out? Scenting to wake him up?
Tong feeding and doing the little mouse dance or just leave the prey in the tank by his hide opening to allow a naturalistic hunt?
Any tips and or tricks would be appreciated. I look forward to hearing what you have been successful with in the past after bringing you BP home.
Thanks,
