    Inbreeding only causes problems, if the parent animals have problems.

    Like, if both parents have a hereditary problem, then their offspring will likely have it. Breeding their offspring together, will make their offspring even more likely to have it. And so on and so forth.

    Other than that, there should be no ill effects from inbreeding.
