    You can wire them all together, and use one power cord. It is not that difficult. You just wire two pieces to each side of each piece, and then use one piece on each side to hook into the next piece until you reach then end. It takes a lot of cutting and stripping, but it is worth it on the long run. I just converted my 41 quart rack from back heat to belly heat this way. I used one foot of 12" flexwatt for each level.
