Two new boys - tell me about them!

    Hey everyone,

This is my first visit to your lovely forum. I am about to acquire my first ball pythons. My anery corn + $40 = 2 male ball pythons. Sounded like a good trade and I've always wanted to try some balls so I'm excited to get them on Thursday!

I have these two pictures of them. I believe one of them is supposed to be 1,200 g and a year old, and the other he described as 4ft long and 2 yrs old. I just wanted to put up the pics provided and see if you knowledgeable folk can tell me anything about them. I notice that one has a bit of a strip on his neck; how is that described in the world of pythons? Any thoughts you have are great; just give me some vocabulary to work with. (-: I've had corns for years but these will be my first pythons.

I know they aren't anything super exciting but I think they're lovely! In the future I may see if I can trade one of them for a female, but I'm not convinced that the world needs more normal ball pythons so I may just hang on to them. Or sell one of them and get something else. Regardless I'm pretty excited!

Two beautiful boys you have there! The first one, it's referred to as a neck stripe.

We look forward to getting to know you!

Aw, thanks for all the quick replies! I should be picking these gents up on Thursday so I'll be sure to come back with more pictures, and probably a few questions. I've loved looking at the balls you guys have; some are so amazingly beautiful!

Try to get the set up stable (temps and humidly) soon it often takes a week to stabilize it! Read as many care sheets as you can as well there is a lot of contradictory info out there!
