With that being said what would some of your guys ideas that you would get with 1500 dollars. I understand that its my snakes and it should be my ideas but I want to get some ideas on what you guys would do with 1500. Would you spend it all on just two or three snakes would you spread it out and get a decent amount ideas ideas ideas!!!!!

Man, you can do a lot with $1500 in the BP world. It really revolves around what you want and are into as a collector/breeder. You already have the Spider - Pastel match up for a Bumble Bee. If you are into the Leucistics you could buy a couple Fire's (Female and Male) and pop out some Black Eyed Leucistics. You could even buy a couple Albinos and breed. Or you could purchase a Piebald and breed it to one of your current snakes (They cost around $1100), and have a chance at hatching some Piebalds or Pastel Piebalds or Spider Piebalds. You could purchase another Pastel to breed Super Pastels, or just buy a Super Pastel and breed it to your Spider for some Killer Bees!

I mean with $1500 you can buy at least one of most BP's on the market right now and start breeding for different morphs through the combination, especially with that Pastel. Remember, in any collection, the Pastel is killer!

The possibilities are exponential, my advice is to find a morph you like, or don't have enough to buy, but can by the two required to make that certain morph and go for it. It's all about you here!

I would spread it out a little! I like: Pieds, pastels, fires, spotnoses and yellowbellies! I'd probably get a couple NICE normal or het girls. I guess I'd advise looking through some classifieds and see what you like best! Decide whether you can wait for hets or if you want a visual! OR find a cool co dom or combo morph that you like and decide if you would rather buy the snakes that can make it, or the combo itself!

Personally, my shopping list is thus:

    Ghost
    fire
    yellow belly
    spider combo!

I'm planning on getting a fireYBpastel combo next year! i LOVE combos!
    1.0 Het Piebald (Lycaeus)
    1.0 Spider (V "Fawkes")
    0.1 Piebald (Fia)
0.2 Pastel (Chalcomede & Daeneyrs "Dany")
    0.1 orangebelly (Secha "Veruca Salt")

    R.I.P my babies
    Texas luecistic ratsnake (Ripley) 0.1
    Ball Python (Ariadne) 0.1
    Ball Python (Montreal) 1.0

Hey thanks a bunch for the input gosh now you really got me thinking???? I like the albinos alot and I really would like to kinda get a small breeding project going I have the space and time its just so hard for me to choose what I should go with. I have always wanted to do binos super bad and your right it would be a bad Idea to get me another pastel. The only thing is I am really hoping for some bumblebees out of the spider and pastel. So i would have to repurchase another two pastels but not to big of deal. But the albinos are really nice too.... You had also mention two fires to make leucistitc how much do fires run???

Personally, I would spend 1500 on a combination of locality boas and caging. But if you're just looking for ball pythons, there's a simple answer: go to an expo and pick out a couple of things you like. Look for quality morphs, not necessarily high end morphs. Take, for example, pastels. There are a lot of browned out, normal looking pastels that go for next to nothing. But, if you look, you can find some super nice pastels going for $500+, that are well worth the money. Look around, check out faunaclassifieds.com and market.kingsnake.com, and find something you like, then find a superior example of what you like.

You could probably get a Fire pair for around $400 give or take $50 bucks.
(Or ready to breed for around $600, but it really depends on who's selling)

Theoretically you should have a good chance to get a Bumble Bee out of your first clutch with your Pastel and Spider. And to make a Killer bee, all you need to do is breed a Pastel to your Bumble Bee (You can use it's mother, but side effects have been noted after three generations of inbreeding) and considering a breeding size Pastel is only around $100-$150 it would be a good idea just to pick up another to make a Killer Bee.

Yeah Albinos are hot! Everyone with a decent collection will pick one up at one time or another, so they're a good investment!

I think you should decide if it's an investment, or just a hobby. If it's an investment, then picking up a pied should be definite. You could get a male pied, and a female het pied with that. If it's a hobby, then just get the ones you love.

Don't listen to these so called "experts" (lol jkin) just saying you can NEVER go wrong with a normal if anything a pair of ready to breed HETs could potentially double or triple your money but that's just me

Everything Will be ok in the end
    If it's not ok....
    It's not the end

    1.1 Normal "Akuma / Leila"
    1.0 Pastel "Ryu"
