    So am I weird...

that I feel extatic that Elizabeth shed in two full strips... and is vigorous and beautiful the day after shed... like... this is the second time for me and I feel like I just opened a present for Christmas... opening her tank to clean it out this morning and lifting her hide up and her just curled up looking all new and pretty and looking around all like "im hungry now"
she had two little stuck sheds... which I just pulled off... i know you are supposed to soak them... but they came right off... like... literally, without any preamble.

    Re: So am I weird...

your not weird...i felt the exact same way when my girl shed for the 1st time since i got her (this was actually her 2nd shed this month but 1st time for me). i even got to see her working to get the skin off, which i hear is pretty rare.
heck you should've heard my panic when i realized she'd gone into shed when me and my 9 yr old daughter noticed her eyes were blue. even my daughter panicked, telling me to call the breeder i'd bought her from, lol.
but all went well and the skin came off in 3 large pieces with nothing left behind.
made me go "dang! i got panicked & stressed out for nothing!"

Nah not weird at all! When Hera shed for us I couldn't stop looking at her she was so pretty! her last shed was a bad one but now that I have much better control of the humidity it should be fine. She just went "blue" yesterday.
