    I agree that once you start plunking out animals with a half dozen or more different things going on, it can be difficult to tell.

    I wholly suspect in the coming decade we'll see some people put animals up for sale and say "I don't know what this is, but it came from a super duper applebutter candy cane team laser explosion paired with a mega oval passion special fader david duchovney cracklespack hoolaboo. Whatever it is, it's a powerhouse of breeding potential, and pretty. $10,000 obo"

    This gets ever more confusing as we uncover visual traits that are a bit less pronounced, especially when it comes to combos. I could see how if you hatched out one snake, it might be hard to tell whether it is a super pastel desert yellowbelly or a super pastel fire desert yellowbelly.. especially if you've never seen either before.
