Do differant style space heaters impact humidity differantly?

OK, I am curious if oil filled radiators have a differant impact on humidity than a space heater using a blower? Right now I am having no problem with ambient temps but am struggling with the humidity using a fan style heater. I have added a humidifier which has helped but in order to get the humidity up to 45-50% I need to run the humidifier on the highest setting which actually blows so much cool air that it lowers the room temp too much. Would swapping to an oil filled radiator help in a 10x10 room?

All heaters will decrease humidity to an extent. Ones that blow hot air do the most damage on humidity.

Oil radiators kill humidity but running humidifier fixes that problem.

a fan style will lower the humidity more than a oil filled, the fan style blows air past coils that are glowing red hot and it takes ur humidity. oil filled will impact it less, but will it help...i don't know.

Using the traditional style heater HAS killed my humiidty a lot more this season than last when I used the oil filled radiatant style heater. Both removed some humidity from the air, but the fan-hot-air ones seem to do it a lot worse.

I've run into that over the past few winters and tried different things. Mostly it's a combination between monitoring humidity and my electric bill....

What I've settled on is an oil-filled radiator type that I keep on fairly low so that the room stays about 74*. On top of that, I have either flexwatt or RHPs on each tub or cage with a thermostat. The individual flexwatt and heat panels help keep the humidity up in the individual setups depending on ventilation, misting schedules, and water bowl position/size.

One of the best heaters that I have ever owned would likely help. It's a radiator style heater but what it does is it heats a set of coils to red hot and then the heat hits a large reflector and it sens the heat out in line like a normal fan heater. But it has no fan so no moving air. You can find em at CosCo if you wanna try em out. We have one for the really cold nights and it works wonders.
