Step up food size?
Hey guys i dont have a pic of my bp currently. I have a weight scale that is a tad small so I had to try to curl up my bp, anyway I got a pretty accurate weight of about 440 grams. Right now I feed him 2 adult mouse (20g each) a week and he seems real hungry a few days after he eats. I think I should move him to rats, how many g should these rats weigh? Thanks! 
For every 15-foot python out in the Everglades, there are thousands of species of clams, trees, cats, grasses and birds that are wrecking just as much havoc across the globe. So, for all the headaches the snakes are causing, I at least applaud them for being scary enough to get people's attention.

try something that is 60-70 grams
0.1 Blue Beauty Snake
1.2 Normals
0.1 Mystic
0.1 Pastel Poss Het Ghost
1.0 Banana Bumblebee
0.1 Common Snapping Turtle

15-17% body weight if I remember right, its early so my hamster isnt up to speed yet.

Generally people follow the 10-15% rule so you can feed a 44-66g rat.

Yeah a "small" rat should be perfect for a 440 gram male. Echo what everyone else is saying around a 50-70 gram rat is fine.

small rats or large weanling rats that are around 50g

My 410 gram ball eats small rats easily.

Heh okay thanks guys...I feel guilty now.
But it's just a small rat seems way to big, maybe I am underestimating my ball python but I'm just worried about him eating something to large.
Maybe I'll get a pic of him to give a size comparison.

many ball pythons won't eat it if they know its to big
