Why does someone always have to comment on the size of the rat? How do you know he doesn't feed his snakes twice a week or 2 rats per feeding?

Anyway.. I also breed strictly fancy rats. Blue, fawn, champagne, masked etc. When that's all you breed then that's all you feed. This member breeds mostly dumbo fancies so I don't think there is much of a choice here.

    Adorable picture by the way.

I definitely love this pic! The mice even looks more afraid of the person taking the pic rather than the bp

    Re: protecting whats mine

I only feed my males 30 to 50 gram weanlings every 7 days or so, if anything I'm probably accused of over feeding more than under feeding so it's kind of nice to be asked why such a small prey item
This rat is about 35 grams.

Monicas correct, I breed nothing but high quality rats for the pet trade and some just don't make the grade for releasing as pets whether it was a runt, under-fed, the wrong conformity, skittish, any number of reasons would make it not a good pet.
This rat was a 4 week old runt.
Otherwise I have a good friend 4 houses over that breeds plenty of nice food to feed for all of our snakes.
