Driving down I75 in Florida (Lived in Ft. Myers at the time) and just a normal Sun-shower type deal. Usually just some light rain, and not a big deal, but there was a nice sized puddle of standing water on the highway I didn't see until too late. The car hydroplaned and I held it pretty good until the highway took a bit of a curve. Overcorrected and the car snapped back to the left, spun backwards, and ended up in the 15foot ditch you see there.
What I didn't know is that the little off-road excursion broke all the motor and tranny mounts, broke the steering shaft, and a few other things. The body of the car was a mess. I ended up selling it for DIRT cheap.
Oh well, I'm lucky to be alive and glad the car didn't roll or worse. The absolute scariest part was that the car did the same thing two weeks prior on a road by my house. Fortunately I was only doing 35mph and the car ended up between two trees. Both times that the car spun, no one stopped to help me. It was pretty scary being on the highway and flagging anyone for help while waiting for the police and medics to come, and no one stopped....
