honduran milksnake escaped, now hes in our washer & wont come out

As the title says my 2 1/2ft honduran milksnake got out lastnight & after about an hour of looking we found him in the washer. He's in between the metal drum that the water goes in & the plastic container the hold the water. We spent almost 4 hours trying to get him out lastnight but nothing worked. We tried filling the washer up with cold water, hitting the side of the washer with a screw driver, & poking him through the holes with a plastic coated metal hanger & nothing worked so we left the lid to the washer open & put a heat lamp on the floor about 5ft away thinking that he would eventually get cold & come out to get warm. When we went down today to see if he came out & he's STILL in there & doesn't seem like he's coming out anytime soon. Does anybody have any advice to help speed up the process.

All truths pass through three stages:
    First, it is ridiculed.
    Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I put a mouse in one of the little containers I got some baby california king in & sat it inside the washer. He's moved up higher but still isn't out yet. I can't take apart the washer because it belongs to my uncle & I don't think he would be to happy about that.
