Is she gonna lay?
I have a huge normal fermale that i have been breeding this year. I cant tell how much she weighs because she is too heavy for my scale which only goes to 3200. She was bred 10/23/10 to 2 of my males. The fisrts was a dinker male which i saw several locks after 3 days on. after the resting period i put my YBG male with her and saw a couple locks. After that she completely stoped breeding and eating and went into shed. When she shed she was 3-4 times as bright as she was before she shed. I cant feel follicles and its almost been 2 months since she shed. She aslo has went back on feed which alot more aggression then when i first got her. At first she was hugging the cool side and laying inverted from time to time. But now she just stays in the hide on the warm side. Should i be expecting a clutch from this girl she kinda seems swollen but then again she has been eating also

Re: Is she gonna lay?
It is very possible that she had her pre-lay shed, but I would still pair until you notice her refuse to lock. Maybe take some pictures for us to see how she looks? Ovulation can be very prominent, but sometimes it can go unnoticed with a small clutch size and with a large female.

Deff not ready to lay. What you described is her pre ovy shed not pre lay.
Females once they ovulate they will shed 2 weeks after that. Then once they shed in about 25-35 days eggs are laid. And in this time they wont Feed as well.
