i saw my bps breeding but its been so long and i dont think she's pregnant so weird and disappointing too. saw locks and everything

When did you start/stop pairing? You could try palpating her if you feel comfortable doing it to see if she even has follicles. Just because they locked up doesn't mean she was ready to ovulate or become gravid. Depending on follicle development, it may take months and months for her to ovulate (if she's even going to go for you).

Just because you see locks definitely does not guaruntee eggs..

Like others have said, just because you have seen locks doesn't mean the male has viable sperm, the female is ready for eggs, or that the female has ovulated. Females also like to take breaks from having eggs. It can take months of pairing before anything happens. Most people breed from November to March/Aprilish. It's a LONG process!

yeah i've got 2 that have been locking up since sept. and still no ovulation.

Last year I started pairing Mona (with two boys) in October, and she didn't lay eggs until late June... you've gotta be MEGA patient with these critters!
