    Morph ideas

Ok I just want to weigh some of my options I also am not a huge fan of "trolling" on this forum but on the other had RESPECT EVERYONES overall experience and input.

    Existing snakes-
    -Male pastel green ghost
    -female pastel
    -female butter
    -female normal

HERES MY QUESTION- MY ORIGINAL IDEA WAS TO BUY A CLEAN BUMBLE BEE TO BREED WITH MY FEMALES NEXT SEASON BUT IM HONESTLY TURNED OFF BY THE WOBBLE. EVEN THOUGH SPIDER MORPHS ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITES ITS JUST SOMETHING THATS DISTURBING TO ME ABOUT IT AND DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO IF I HAD ONE THAT WOULD CORKSCREW LIKE SOME I HAVE SEEN ON THE INTERNET. ? ? ? WHAT OTHER OPTIONS DO I HAVE THAT WOULD WORK WELL WITH MY COLLECTION? I REALIZE THERE ARE TONS OF PERSONAL PREFERENCES AND DIRECTIONS THAT I COULD STEER. BUT I AM VERY OPEN TO THEM AND WOULD APPRECIATE INPUT.

Price range-like to keep it under 1000$

and to repeat my self i understand alot has to do with preference but I have been doing research and was set on shooting for butterbees and supper pastels and all the possiblities that a bee could potentially give me. and am bothered by the wobble i still might fall in love with one at the show but want hear some input on other possibilities. THANKS A TON

I'd go with something with pinstripe in it like a lemonblast, cinnapin, kingpin, or jigsaw. Those are all nice morphs to work with.

    Re: Morph ideas

I honestly agree with the bee. They are affordable, look great, and can make some GREAT looking morphs! but the the ultimate decision is yours. Get something you will like and like working with!

    well to be honesty.

i am doing the same thing you are. i have a pastel, butter both males.
i have a normal female and a bumble bee female.

im going to the expo in pomona with the same budget. 1000$
and im walking out with a female lemon blast.

similar morphs possible like a bee.
    no wobbles.
and to be honest. the pinstripes super thin lines are nicer in my opinion.

also if you want a high white animal. calico or sugar is a good direction to go.
the morphs produced are incredible. and have white sides like spiders.

    check out an enchi-calico.
    or pastel calico.

but hey ill probly see you at the expo jan. im going both days.
    0.1 Normal (Sookie)

You could get a male lesser, breed it to both butter and pastel to get a blue eyed lucy lesser x butter (25% chance) and go lesser x pastel to try for a pastel lesser(25% chance) but thats just my opinion....again

i ahve thought about going the BEL route but then it just seems like it ends with a pure white snake i could be wrong Totally wrong but i dont know. illl have to see what suits my fancy I will be wearing my BP.NET shirt youll see me im a tall guy lol. i appreciate the help I almost bought a calico from MAKI and wish i did now lol but it got swooped up on he was a beauty. I LOVE pastel calicos Ill see if i can find a high white one that is in my price range. also I will be making a road trip to so cal to see my family do you think itll be an issue to have the animal in a temporary tub for a couple days 3 days tops and then drive him back home with me 10+ drive to my home. i just ask in fear of stressing the snake out especailly after just being on display at a show. just a thought

As far as the show goes, just be sure you are buying from someone who gives their snakes water and good care at shows! Also, someone with good rep will tell you how best to pack the new guy/girl up so it's well protected and then when you get back, just give it a good week or so to recover. I always wonder if they get carsick, poor things!

I LOVE spiders and I hate wobble! There are some lines that are far less wobbly and some that don't seem to wobble most of their lives. This is just a matter of buying from someone who is a good honest seller. And most spiders don't seem to have anything other than a wobble, so I'm kind of on the fence about whether that bothers me or not. I think if i found a smoking bee with little or no wobble from parents who were low or no wobblers i would probably buy it! It seems like low wobblers throw low wobblers, but that is just my limited experience. It sounds like it is very rare to find a non-wobbling spider, but I cannot say I have researched this subject too much. I SAY: look for a good bee, but keep another morph in mind if you do not find the bumble of your dreams!

clowns and pins are cool. Not my thing as much as the look spiders have, but they don't have the wobble, so def. a plus. I like stuff like fires/vanillas that enhance colors on other morphs. I think the co-doms like yellowbellies and lessers are indeed neat for making pretty white snakes, but they just look cool crossed with pastels! I'm ALSO sad you missed the calico, I think that would be my vote for a bee runner up, although they seem a bit pricier now? I'm not sure, but they are sooo awesome!
