    ^^you really should read yourself, never said it was acceptable Words never left my mouth or were even imposed. Now can you leave it uncovered and run risk? Sure. And like I said already, you should cover them. Your comments to this thread are irrelevant besides your first post.

    Moving on.........just cover the metal clamps (electrical tape does fine and if you want the plastic clamps Reptile Basics has a few people at local shows that I am sure will have plastic clips for sale that should fit the other flexwatt clamps seeing the metal clips are the same) to save yourself from shock or fire hazards, even though you could leave them uncovered it would not be a wise option and is highly unrecommended.
