    Yes, but he was asking for an alternative for the covers, as he had forgotten to order them. Not to be criticised for not having them.

    Your criticism was non-productive, nor constructive, therefore meaning it is unnecessary.

    1. I forgot my key in my car, what do I do?
    a) You're a dumby, your key is the ONLY way into your car.
    b) Call a lock smith..

    One of those answers are completely useless, and probally already obvious to the person asking the question. So be a man, and show some respect. He wanted a solution.

    and As for the author,

    Electrical tape should do fine, as long as it is covering what the caps would be covering. (Be sure to watch it for the first little while, to see how well it remains adhesive with the heat being applied to it)
