    I got the same case mate. My 1700g female laid eggs and was 1200g. She basically started swallowing food right after I remove the eggs into the incubator. She didn't shed or poo, just a little urine here and there, and her first poo was when she weigh 1950g all the way from 1200g. Weight of 3 hamster and 3 rats I guess, cant really remember but I remembered clearly her poo was kind of dry though.

    Now, after a year, she weighs 1800g and healthy and preparing for another breeding project. In my opinion, she wanted to gain back as much weight as possible as the concave on the belly was pretty deep after eggs laying.

    As long it is eating after laying, it should be fine and nothing to worry about, normally big snakes are not prone to constipation compare to young baby ball pythons. Hope this helps
