Question Need Help on what this could be, after shed scale patch lighter than others

The title mostly explains. He just now started to shed and what was under confused me. I've had him for a year this is the first time I have seen this. Keeping the temp between 80 and 90 degrees F, and humidity above 50% now.

The lighting is a little bright but the left half of his head is where it has changed

Here is what he looked like last month.

The texture of the skin compared to the nicely shed skin feels like rubber and has a bit of grip to it

It looks to me like he got a little to enthusiastic in his shedding, and rubbed off the scales there.

It happens, and should go away with the next shed.

    Yep,

When he was shedding he has removed a couple of the top layers from the new scales underneath.

It should, as said, go away with the next shed.

Thanks, I was worried it was some kind of internal infection or something weird.
