Thank you so much everyone. We ended up going to the pet store and found a nice used 29 gallon tank for 40$. So Madison is chilling in there and she looks pretty happy.
I'll post pics later today or tomorrow. It looks really nice in there! And I feel more confident in my tank husbandry than tub husbandry.
