This is the most worthless phrase EVER to help you spell. It doesn't matter what you add to the end of this, there are too many exceptions. Does anyone have a saying that actually works? This one is almost useless in BG's experience. It almost never applies when BG uses it.

I before E except after C....and except when it makes the long A sound (ie; neighbor, weight)....and except when the word is weird.

I THINK that covers most of the common issues.

Wrong. "seize" is a weird word. It covers all the rest of the words that don't fit the saying, because they're all weird.

I was also gonna mention the "conceited" one, but Derek beat me to it.
