    Great place

I just want you all to know this place is a great source of information! I recently (as in today) got a baby ball from some one at work who didn't want it ( Christmas gift gone wrong??) and was thinking of a good place to dispose of it. I am figuring out exactly what it needs to be a happy addition to our family. I have UTH, a cave, water dish, thermometer and a day/heat light in a 15 gallon tank. The humidity in my house here in WA is about 60% and the warm spot in the tank is about 85. The snake was fed at the beginning of the week so isn't in need of food yet and that is about all I know.

I havent owned a reptile before but my fiance has, however I want to be a good snake mommy so I will be lurking around here learning what I can and asking silly questions.

Hi and welcome! Congrats on your new family member too! Sounds like you have a good grip on what your new guy/gal needs. And there's no such thing as a silly question .

    Update

I went to get s/he a ceramic heat light so that she can have heat with less light seems happy about it. My fiance is in love with it and has named it Kaa (with the help of our 3 year old son who loves the jungle book). I need to get the humidity up better so I am about to aluminum foil the screen of her cage I keep learning more and more from this site it is amazing!
