    2 'rescue' balls

Well they need some work but besides lots of stuck shed and having me worried they might have the beginning of RI they look amazing. Nice and big. Only problem is my dad didn't have the cash to get them so I spent a good part of my cash I had from my paycheck to get them (but he is going to pay me back).

The bigger one is probably 3-4 feet long and the smaller on I'm guessing 2 1/2 feet. Gave them both good long soaks last night and got most of the shed off except what is on their heads and upper necks, pretty sure they have retained eye caps as well >.< so I will have to wait and see if they come off with next shed. As soon as my dad pays me back I'm getting them new hides, and as soon as I possible can I will be getting one of my extra tanks out of storage to have separate housing for them. For now they are in storage boxes in the bathroom (warmest place in the house and high humidity).

I talked to my dad and he agreed to buy me $100 worth of reptile supplies xD Petmoutain.com here I come!

Pictures will be posted some time :]

    Re: 2 'rescue' balls

I know I'm supposed to wait a week or two before I feed them but I offered them both food and they both took f/t!
I only offered because the guy I got them from said they hadn't ate in around 2 weeks.

Though next time I'm getting the smaller of the 2 a smaller rat.

So cage has been scrubbed clean, new bedding put in, sides and back blocked off with cardboard, and just need to get an UTH for it and for the other tank. Oh and the 2 half logs that came with it were scrubbed and baked (these are temp.)
Going to the $store to see what they have I can use as hides and maybe decor :]

UTH's are actually getting bought tonight. Talked to my dad and told him I can't wait for those. I have a thermostat luckily. That reminded me I need more digital thermometers and hygrometers. To the store!

    Ahh!

I hate when problems arise. Couldn't get into the garage at our other house. Mom couldn't find the key and my mom's cousin that is living there wasn't home and couldn't get a hold of him. I guess I'll have to wait till Sat. when I work to get the other tank. It's an hour round trip from this house to that one and my truck is out of commission (something when BANG in it when my mom was driving it home).
So would it be okay for the time being to have the 2 in the same tank (3 days, maybe)? They were kept in the same tank before. I know it can cause stress but I want them to get the heat and humidity they need until I can get my other tank.

Only pic I have so far.
That's the larger of the 2, would she be fine in a 30 long? I do have a 40 breeder but that looks like it could be too big...

    And on another note...
Dang I need to get a new scale, she is heavy! I really hope she is a she xD Anyone in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area willing to probe them? I'm guessing she is too big to pop and I'm not sure about the smaller one but I'm not about to try and learn on my own xP
Edit: and at the biggest part of her she is at least 6-7 inches around.

For now, keeping them in one cage with heat is healthiest if they are sick. Get them separate cages as soon as possible! I had my rescues that had lived together sharing a cage for a while and split them up a week or two later. They were ok, but I also got them very healthy.
