Exclamation Bugs in my roach tub

I have a nice colony of Dubia roaches. Yesterday I noticed thousands of these "saw dust" looking itty bitty white clearish bugs all over the top of the tub. I have no idea what these bugs are but I want them gone! I hope they aren't hurting my roaches.

    Any one have any ideas?

My colony of dubia roaches attracted bugs.. so I got rid of it. I didn't have enough geckos who would take roaches to warrant an entire colony, so GOODBYE roaches.

What are you feeding them? If they are grain mites they can sometimes be in chicken or hog feed.

    How wet is the enclosure?

Their tub is dry and heated. They eat a mix of cat, dog, and rat food. I wonder if it's the rat blocks. Hmmm

Maybe needs a bit more ventilation? My tubs tubs have atleast 50% of the lid screened.

Hope you get rid of them soon

Culturing feeders you're bound to get grain mites. If you want to check out any dart frog sites you'll quickly see that. You could place your colony on mite paper, other than that, just whenever their population booms clean your roach colony. They'll probably come back, but you can at least control their numbers.

I actually microwaved my most recent batch of roach food and then sealed it in an airtight container. Although I wouldn't recommend that.
