Getting Older and Starting To Hurt

My female Lesser has always been a hisser and a striker. I really never minded it. She'd strike and draw a little blood everytime I reached into her enclosure. I took it as SOP. Well tonight, while cleaning her enclosure, she tagged me and I realized for the first time, at 1000 grams, her strikes are starting to hurt just a bit.

A little more blood and a little more sting, but at close to a year old, she's such a great feeder, I wouldn't change her for the world.

She would eat every 2-3 days if I let her. I've never had a female pick up weight like she has. I'm happy, even with the bite marks!
