You gotta get regular or at least try... Been working night shift for almost four years STRAIGHT so here's a few tricks I try...
Shut your cell phone off and put it in a different room.
Put your alarm clock somewhere you have to get out of bed to shut it off.
Watch a little tv before you go to sleep (helps to clear my mind).
Only sleep for eight hours.
Do the things you have to do before you go to bed. Other words, don't leave yourself stuff you can do in the morning.
If you wake up before your 8 hour alarm clock don't get outta bed, lay there with your eyes closed until it goes off then get up.
If you need it only nap for like max an hour. No matter how tired you are, get outta bed/ off the couch/ outta the computer chair

Don't workout too close to bed.
Sex is an amazing sleep helper (as prescribed earlier in the thread

).
That's all I can think about for now. Or if it's legal where you are or if you have glaucoma puff a fatty, eat till you feel like your going to explode, then pass out with your face in a bowl of captin crunch and sleep like a baby!
