That is part of the problem I don't understand the system at all.
RPFN_10_12_10 (male chocolate ball)
F16_22_116_21 (female pastel)
Are the names offspring are totally different again.
I am used to organizing huge amounts of files, and before I started from scratch on my own I thought I'd ask to see what systems were being used at this time.
I figured I'd rename snakes (they have names but that will get numbers for ease of tracking) especially when it comes to breeding.
I had been thinking CHOC_M_01
CHOC = Chocolate
M = Male
01= individual animal
PSTL_F_02
PSTL = Pastel
F= female
02 individual animal I figured to start at 01 and just go numeric and ignore morphs I have no plans on doing this large scale I am finishing a project!
I figured offspring might be
CO/PL_F_01/02_10
CO/PL = Chocolate Pastel
F = Female
01/02 = parents ids
10= individual id
Is this a logical system? Or is it clunky?successful
