    new ball python girl...sheding problem???

i just got a new ball python female and about an hour after haveing she started rubbing her nose on my hand hard. then i put her back in her box to take her home and when i pulled her out again it looked like she had something in her mouth so i got the tweezer to check it. i lifted it a lil bit and it was her skin. i soaked her in warm water for about 10 min and then her head started to shed down to her neck. she rubbed it off tho but she is still sheding. the only thing about this i didnt get was that she didnt show any signs of sheding altho she was dark. i thought it was just her patern tho, but her eyes werent blue and her belly wasnt red. is this a bad sign?

Their eyes will blue for a few days then return to almost normal looking. There's no need to soak them during shed it can actually make the shed more difficult, just up your humidity a bit and let them do their thing.

Yeah, just like iCandiBallPythons said. When a ball is going to shed, first the belly will pink up a bit. Then they will look dull and the eyes get all cloudy. They stay like this for days. Then the eyes clear up and their skin looks normal. They will shed with in a couple days of that.

Glad to hear she did shed as she's supposed to. Now you know all the signs to look for!
