I'm amazed at how far skateboarding has come from when I was doing it. My idols were Tony Alva and Jay Adams. None of the tricks, half-pipes, and skate parks had been invented yet. If you wanted anything other than asphalt, you had to find an empty swimming pool... Suddenly, I feel old...Now my 10 year old is really into it...we just bought him a grind for Christmas and my hubby is building him a half pipe in the backyard. lol ...crazy
