    You go ahead and try that. And shall see when your snakes decide to fast for months from massive meals. Ball pythons do not do well on the this so called 10-15% rule someone came up with. No one knows what a snakes nutrition needs are. But I and many other give out the advice that is KNOWN to work and keep them feeding more consistent.

    They do better on smaller prey items more often. My snakes eat year round no fasting and fed nothing over 80 grams once they are over 1000g.
