I have a 3 year old male normal BP in a 30 gallon tank.

I just picked up a 3 month old orange ghost male yesterday. I have him in a 10 gallon right now.

Im starting to expand my collection and was wondering if it would be ok to house these guys together?

No and No. Sorry but it is NEVER a good idea to house snakes together permanently. Unless your breeding an of age female to a male, then all snakes should be separate.

Its not something I would ever do. Males will fight for dominance. This is not going to be a great existence for your 3 month old male constantly getting beat down by the 3 year old. There are lots of other good reasons for not housing BP's together. Do a search on this forum and you will see a lot of good posts on the topic.

While it is true that some people have housed BPs together without ill effect, it is NOT something I would recommend for a new keeper. ("New" being a very relative term, btw, and open to many different interpretations) If you were dead set on housing two snakes together, I would still advise against housing those two together. You'd want to make sure that they were close in size and weight.

Really, your BEST bet if you want to expand your collection is to invest in a rack in which you can house multiple snakes, each in their own individual home, while taking up a relatively small amount of actual room space.

Thats exactly what i was thinking! I appreciate the responses. Im fairly new to this site and im totally hooked on it! Very helpful and awesome ppl!

My two guys are perfectly comfy in there current settings and my future plans are either build a rack or a multi unit cage.

I am in the process of building a rack now. I have 4 snakes look to grow to 6-7 total. My rack will cost around $120.
