Difference between Super Lesser and Lesser Pied
I am tossing a lesser pied (who has the typical brown "helmet) to my group of albino females, thus producing lessers and normals double het. albino pied. My plan is to holdback everything and if you think about the pairing of lesser dh x lesser dh you will notice there are alot of different morphs going on. My main question is how will I be able to tell the difference in the super lessers and the lesser pieds (if they have no markers). Thanks in advance!

Having never seen an all white lesser pied in person I can't say for sure but seems like you wont be able to..
When you've got 10,000 people trying to do the same thing, why would you want to be number 10,001? ~ Mark Cuban "for the discerning collector"

If I'm understanding what your asking, a super lesser is a Blue Eyed Leucistic. So the super lessers would have blue eyes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sounds right to me but i am no expert

yeah i would think the Lesser Pied would have black eyes and the Lesser-Lesser would have blue eyes, so that might be the only way to tell.
Then again i don't know that for sure, not too familiar with the eyes of lesser pieds.

i've seen lesser pieds and they have black eyes,
however a BEL pied i would think would turn out like the spied, all white with a helmet. possilby blue eyes.
but i too am no expert, just a theory. keep us posted on this project! sounds awesome!

From the photographs I've seen (with the full caveat that I have never seen a lesser pied in person), it seems as though super lessers have slightly bugged-out blue eyes, while the lesser pieds look like they have darker eyes that, to me, look slightly sunken in all the pictures I've seen of them.
Again, though, this is with the caveat that I've never compared the two in person.

Re: Difference between Super Lesser and Lesser Pied
I sat right next to a 100% white lesser pied at the last show and didn't have time to get a really good look. I thought though that the pied white was supposed to be even cleaner than the homozygous lesser white? Cool problem to have so good luck on that breeding!
Interesting you mentioned the "typical" helmet. The breeder I sat next too produced I think it was three lesser pied this year and all of his where 100% white. Just curious, do your normal pieds tend to be high white or low white? Maybe the difference between 100% white and 98% white lesser pieds is the pied line? I always liked the helmet on the spieds so would be tickled pink with either variety.
