    Shedding Humidity

My new BP is going thru it's forst shed and I had to do a little experimenting to get the humidity up. Right now I have it between 70% and 80%. I know 70% is good but if I hit 80% occasionally with no condensation is that too high?

    Re: Shedding Humidity

So long as it's just temporary...the few days it takes to complete the shedding process....it should be fine.

That does bring me to one other quick question I first noticed my snakes eyes dulling on Tuesday and on Thursday they were completely clouded over. How long does it normally take for the process to run to the actual shed?

It can take several days. It varies a bit from snake to snake...but a week would not be unusual. After the eyes cloud over, they will clear up again, and you may wonder what happened. This is normal. It's another few days after the clearing-up that they will finally shed out.
