Well that is kinda what I figured. It's not that big a deal at all though. Her hinged lid and now the tinfoil treatment are already making things so much easier now that I am overjoyed and the cage clip thing is just such a minor problem in comparison anyway! I'm just so overjoyed with her new hinged lid and tinfoil treatment!2. I've never tried velcro to secure a lid, and wouldn't trust it. These guys are amazingly strong AND determined. Even if it seemed to be working for awhile...they would keep pushing and pushing and eventually get it to open. Also, velcro weakens over time and multiple uses.
