Cinnamon vs. Black Pastel

What are the visual ways to tell the difference between a cinnamon and a black pastel? Are there any? Or do you just have to breed them to find out their genetics?

Not in the near future, I just got a cinnamon and wanted to know how to tell the difference.

In general black pastels are much darker, they have more intense blacks and more rich golds than the cinnamons. When bred together they produce an all black snake, darker than the super cinnamon. They're very close "cousins", I guess you could say.

They are, in mine and many other peoples opinion, the same gene. They are just different lines, like blonde pastel and lemon pastel. You can't really breed them out to tell either. Both supers are all black snakes and I have seen some super cinnys darker than super bps and the other way around too. There are slight differences and the site that FatBoy put on there has them I believe. I prefer bps just because they TEND to through out darker combos

best way to tell, bp tend to have pinstriping in the ghosts, and cinnys tend to have floating ghosts. i agree they are the same gene though, just different lines. same as butters/lessers and all the different lines of pastels/ghosts

i think cinny is browner...???
