Jessica - Thanks! I was using a real simple setup...

My basic rule is that I hate flash and avoid using it at all costs. In the "Melanistic Chondro" thread, I used flash with the mite phase one because it brought out the contrast a little more but it looks like crap IMO.

For this one, I had a 100 W GE Reveal bulb clipped to one side and I was taking photos without flash towards a darkened room instead of a backdrop. Like I said...not real fancy!

The red eyes will go away as it gets older (unless I'm really lucky and have somehow stumbled into an unknown area of chondro genetics! ). They'll end up the same greenish-silver color as any other chondro eye.
